Coach Mongero, after waiting many years I never did get the opportunity to play for you first hand, but the two years I played at Laney while you were still there I witnessed the true example of a top notch baseball coach running a top notch program. In case you didn’t know you were missed by many as it wasn’t quite the same after your departure. Congratulations on the book as well as the new job in Georgia and good luck on the many years to come in whatever life may bring upon you and your family.
