This November marks 10 years that our middle school and high school infielders have been attending Coach Mongero’s Elite Infield Camp. After bringing my team for the first time in 2016, I was sold immediately. We haven’t missed a camp since! Hands down, this is the best fundamental infield camp in the USA. For our middle school players, it builds the foundation needed to become elite infielders. For our high school players, it reinforces fundamentals and serves as the perfect accelerator to jumpstart our spring season. What makes this camp unique is the level of detail and instruction. It’s not just about taking ground balls from a fungo. Coach Mongero breaks down every aspect of infield play, including posture, throwing routines, glove work, footwork, and much more. Even more valuable, the drills and techniques we learn at camp become part of our own practice plans throughout the spring, continuing to elevate our players long after the camp ends. Simply put, there’s no better investment in developing infielders than Coach Mongero’s Elite Infield Camp.

The camp she went to this weekend was outstanding. We have spent a lot of time and money on a lot of baseball and softball clinics, camps, private lessons, and workshops over the past 7 years. This weekend we got way more than we paid for. She learned things and got detailed instruction and drills we’ve never seen covered before. I feel like I’ve been a little duped by other camps as she has missed out on the basic fundamentals. Now she has what she needs to work and improve. i just wish we would have gotten with you sooner and went to this camp years ago!

In case you didn’t know you were missed by many as it wasn’t quite the same after your departure. Congratulations on the book as well as the new job in Georgia and good luck on the many years to come in whatever life may bring upon you and your family. After just finishing my college baseball career I’ve finally gotten a chance to take a look back at what happened over the last 4 years. So quickly do we forget where we have been, are going, and how we got there. I have had many teachers, pastors, friends and family help me along the way, but one person really made a difference in my college/baseball career…Trent Mongero(sorry Mom and Dad). Were it not for Coach I would have quit baseball my junior year in high school and then again my junior year in college, but he convinced me to persevere and finish what I had started which in turn were the best four years of my life (to date that is). Coach has a passion that is undeniable for the game, a heart for all of his players, and the desire to make everyone, many times at the expense of himself…BETTER. God places many people in our lives for certain reasons. I feel that Coach has and will be here to spread the gospel, not by reading Bible verses at practice, but through the way that he teaches, plays, and loves his players and the game of baseball on and off the field. Thanks Coach for ALL that you have done for me, you and your family have been such bright lights of faith in a world that can be so tough at times. Good luck with the manual!!!

“To all those aspiring to be a better ballplayer and take your game to the next level… I’m Kenny Holmberg, MLB Field Coordinator for the Texas Rangers. My opportunity and experience in Charlotte NC at the Dirt Bro’s Elite infield camp was amazing!
3 of our MLB coaches and myself left the camp extremely impressed with the attention to detail in developing and owning your routine. The drill work promoted clean actions through thoughtful technique, posture holds, and instruction.
The players were able to improve individual and partner-style drills. It was great to see young players establishing and executing infield routines. Just an incredible amount of content and information that was consumable and sticky.
What resonated most with me was how Trent and Taber Mongero approached the mental side of the game with a feel and understanding for the campers. Baseball IQ, on-field awareness, and additional excellent resources were provided for the players and parents to become better equipped for the next level of competition.”

My son’s aspiration since the age of six has been to join the 12u USA national team.
Consequently, due to the NTIS ID camps hosted by Trent Mongero, my son was identified and approached by multiple representatives from the USA task force.
Ultimately, he was invited to the Regional tryouts in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he performed exceptionally well and was selected as one of 30 kids to represent the Southeast region at the USA Champions Cup in Cary, North Carolina.
For individuals seeking exposure to the USA and a proven elite infielder developmental program, there is no better opportunity. Once you have experienced one Dirt Bro camp, I guarantee that it will not be your last.

I attended multiple Dirt Bro Infield camps as a young high schooler, and attending Mongero’s camps allowed me to understand what it took to play like a professional baseball player, just as Coach Mongero had done himself. He teaches the fundamentals that most coaches gloss over, which ultimately hinders an infielder’s ability to reach their full potential. From teaching the mental game to understanding that you don’t need to be six feet to play division one baseball, to learning what hop to pick at what time, Coach Mongero always provided me with a map on how to improve as a ball player and as a person.
I attended two junior colleges, and getting recruited to a Division I program at five foot seven was not an easy task. However, I was able to separate myself from my competition by implementing Coach Mongero’s tools into my lifestyle. I even came back after high school as a college student to one of Mongero’s camps in North Carolina in order to fine-tune my skills. I would recommend Mongero’s infield camp to people of any age. And the most important thing I learned from Coach is that if you ask anyone if they want to play college baseball, everybody raises their hand. However, statistically, only a few kids make it, and that’s because only a few want it bad enough. Take that first step and learn how to become a pro at a Dirt Bro Infield camp.

Coach Mongero, We are truly grateful for sharing what you have with my son and the impact it’s had on his game! As a father of a young baseball player falling in love with the game, our role is to guide that early interest into lasting passion. Like most parents, we enjoy what our kids enjoy—and for baseball kids, that’s playing games, games, and more games. But there comes a point where we must choose long-term development over short-term gratification.
My 11-year-old son would play every weekend if he could, but real growth happens through focused development—not just in tournaments. That’s why Dirt Bros camps have been a game-changer for us. Coach Montgero and his staff teach the infield from the ground up—emphasizing not just skill, but true understanding of the craft.
Compare a tournament weekend (four games, 10–12 at-bats, a handful of balls in play) to two days at a Dirt Bros camp, and there’s no question where real improvement happens. Every time we can, we’re at a Dirt Bros camp—because knowledge is the great separator.
If your child is serious about being an infielder, I highly recommend Dirt Bros. It’s the best investment we’ve made in our son’s development and love for the game.

“Coach, just wanted to thank you for putting on an amazing clinic last week in WhiteHall. The instruction was fantastic- as a veteran teacher and coach your ability to break down high-level skills into their simplest form to a variety of age/skill levels was impressive and inspiring. I loved The Mental Game and your “chair talks”.It was great to have my son hear a different voice preach so many of the concepts we teach on our team and in our home. Josh, my son, really took to heart what Taber said about leadership, goal-setting, and the realities of college baseball. This is a game of fathers and sons, and the best part was our drive home – we talked for hours on the drive home about ball, his notebook, his plans, and his goals. His goal is to play at the next level – and this camp provided a physical and mental blueprint to assist in that goal.
Best of luck to you and your son next season,”

Dear Trent and Taber, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you both for an incredible camp experience last weekend at UNCW. My son, Jack, had an amazing time, and we will certainly be returning for more camps in the future.
He was so motivated that, on his own, he positioned himself front/center of you both during nearly all of the talks, and took about 20 pages of notes. I thought that was pretty impressive. But, in reality, that’s a testament to you both. You both carry that “command-presence” that all natural born leaders have and that people want to follow. Keep it up!!!
Having been around baseball my whole life, l’ve had the privilege of being exposed to some excellent training throughout my childhood and even in my years as a youth coach before becoming a father still a Coach. I was coached by South Carolina Hall of Fame Coach Jimmy Weatherford and attended Danny Hall’s Baseball Camps at Georgia Tech at least eight times as a player, as well as once as a father. I’ve also participated in nearly every type of baseball training experience you could imagine. That being said, your camp was, without a doubt, the most incredible learning experience I have ever witnessed. Period.
I was so impressed with the attention to detail and disciplined approach Danny Hall provided. You both, however, far exceeded that discipline and precision in your approach. I was truly in awe of the entire experience.
Both Jack and I are deeply grateful for the knowledge and training you’ve shared. Keep up the amazing work – you’re both making a huge impact on the lives of our youth, and I couldn’t applaud you more.
On a different note, l’ve purchased the PDF training manuals, and Jack and I are now working together to integrate your various programs – such as the play/catch routine and the Big 6 drills – into his regular practice routine. Jack is more excited and motivated than ever after attending your camp.
Thanks again for everything, and I wish you both a successful 2025! Look forward to seeing you guys again soon.

“A big thank you to Coach Mongero – Winning Baseball!! The boys attended a 2 day Mongero Elite Infield Camp again this year in Ohio. The level of training and coaching is some of the best in the country I’ve seen… all taught by Coach Trent Mongero himself. The boys and I each have 7-10 pages of notes, tons of videos, and so many specific drills to take their games to the next level. For any of you looking for that type of coaching, I would highly recommend Coach Mongero. And from my conversations with Coach, I know he is a man of faith as well. For those baseball geeks like me… 6 hours of infield and mindset instruction training per day for 2 days… AND Coach never hit ground balls to them… WOW. That says it all! Best of all, some quality father/son time that makes it all priceless for me. Now let’s get to work… tryouts are only 5-6 weeks away.”

While Sohrab struggled with low throwing velocity a little over a year ago, we flew into one of his camps, as we were very impressed away by the quality of his online videos. “Coach Mongero put on the epitome of a perfect clinic. I don’t say this because I like or respect him – of which I do, but I say this because as a former D1 player and professional athlete he hit the points that truly matter. When I say this many people likely think I’m referring to his drills and instruction – which for the record are second to none. The reason however I say this though is not the physical side of his instruction. I say this because of his mental side of instruction. There are many good infield instructors out there – but none teach the mental side like Trent does. He understands it, lived it, reflects it in his own son living it and cares enough to teach the same lessons to our young men. He is able to teach the transparent truth that haunts many kids today – by telling them what it takes mentally to get to the next level along with physically. Coach Mongero’s camp is truly elite. He develops the whole player.”

“I’ve watched and listened to many coaches in person and on social media over the years. I came across Trent Mongero in 2010 on social media after he authored the “Winning Baseball” Books and Video Series. I was immediately impressed by his knowledge, detail, passion and ability to present and teach his spot on programming.
By circumstance I connected with Trent shortly after at an ABCA National Convention. We spent hours that day talking the game, mainly infield play. I quickly realized Trent’s 3 top priorities; God, family and baseball. Trent is a genuine baseball man. He does not rely on gimmicks or fancy eye catching drills. He focuses on things that actually make a player better in the game, while building critical confidence. He comes at you with pure baseball instruction that produces results. Simply put, Trent is a baseball specialist.
As a former MLB infielder and the father of a talented young D1 signed infielder, I never let anyone coach him defensively. That was my job. Until I met Trent. My youngest son has attended 3 Trent Mongero camps over the years! Trent deserves credit for being a part of my son’s development and commitment to a D1 baseball program.
Trent, along with his son Taber are pure baseball gold. Attending a TM2 Dirt Bros Elite Infield Academy/camp is a must. You have my word. It will take you game to the next level.”

Even more valuable, the drills and techniques we learn at camp become part of our own practice plans throughout the spring, continuing to elevate our players long after the camp ends. Simply put, there’s no better investment in developing infielders than Coach Mongero’s Elite Infield Camp.

There’s no doubt that coming to 4 of coach Mongero’s camps played a big part in my commitment to NC State. Thanks for what you do!

2 or 3 Full Days of Elite-Level Instruction
Learn and apply the same drills, routines, and principles used by championship programs and top-tier players. Some Dirt Bro Camps are private, meaning Coach Mongero is hired to work with a small group of athletes, as opposed to an open camp, which is available to whoever registers.
Infield Systems That Scale with the Athlete
From rising 6th graders to graduating seniors and collegiate to pro players, the program adapts to the athlete’s level.
Elite Throwing & Fielding Mechanics That Translate
Campers learn the same throwing routines, footwork, and drill sequences used by top D1 and pro infielders—resulting in improved velocity, accuracy, and efficiency.
Hands-On Coaching from Proven Leaders
Dirt Bro Camps are not your typical baseball camp. Not even in the same ball park! Here you are taught by Coach Trent Mongero or his son, Taber Mongero. There are not outside coaches hired to teach at camp. In addition, players learn how to build daily/weekly training calendars, understand what scouts and recruiters are looking for, and develop the mental skills to handle tryouts, pressure, and big-game moments.
