The camp she went to this weekend was outstanding. We have spent a lot of time and money on a lot of baseball and softball clinics, camps, private lessons, and workshops over the past 7 years. This weekend we got way more than we paid for. She learned things and got detailed instruction and drills we’ve never seen covered before. I feel like I’ve been a little duped by other camps as she has missed out on the basic fundamentals. Coach Mongero, after waiting many years I never did get the opportunity to play for you first hand, but the two years I played at Laney while you were still there I witnessed the true example of a top notch baseball coach running a top notch program. In case you didn’t know you were missed by many as it wasn’t quite the same after your departure. Congratulations on the book as well as the new job in Georgia and good luck on the many years to come in whatever life may bring upon you and your family. Coach Mongero, I learned so much while playing for your program and watching you conduct practice. After just finishing my college baseball career I’ve finally gotten a chance to take a look back at what happened over the last 4 years. So quickly do we forget where we have been, are going, and how we got there. I have had many teachers, pastors, friends and family help me along the way, but one person really made a difference in my college/baseball career…Trent Mongero(sorry Mom and Dad). Were it not for Coach I would have quit baseball my junior year in high school and then again my junior year in college, but he convinced me to persevere and finish what I had started which in turn were the best four years of my life (to date that is). Coach has a passion that is undeniable for the game, a heart for all of his players, and the desire to make everyone, many times at the expense of himself…BETTER. God places many people in our lives for certain reasons. I feel that Coach has and will be here to spread the gospel, not by reading Bible verses at practice, but through the way that he teaches, plays, and loves his players and the game of baseball on and off the field. Thanks Coach for ALL that you have done for me, you and your family have been such bright lights of faith in a world that can be so tough at times. Good luck with the manual!!!

My son’s aspiration since the age of six has been to join the 12u USA national team.

Consequently, due to the NTIS ID camps hosted by Trent Mongero, my son was identified and approached by multiple representatives from the USA task force.

Ultimately, he was invited to the Regional tryouts in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he performed exceptionally well and was selected as one of 30 kids to represent the Southeast region at the USA Champions Cup in Cary, North Carolina.

I attended multiple Dirt Bro Infield camps as a young high schooler, and attending Mongero’s camps allowed me to understand what it took to play like a professional baseball player, just as Coach Mongero had done himself. He teaches the fundamentals that most coaches gloss over, which ultimately hinders an infielder’s ability to reach their full potential. From teaching the mental game to understanding that you don’t need to be six feet to play division one baseball, to learning what hop to pick at what time, Coach Mongero always provided me with a map on how to improve as a ball player and as a person.
I attended two junior colleges, and getting recruited to a Division I program at five foot seven was not an easy task. However, I was able to separate myself from my competition by implementing Coach Mongero’s tools into my lifestyle. And the most important thing I learned from Coach is that if you ask anyone if they want to play college baseball, everybody raises their hand. Dear Trent and Taber, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you both for an incredible camp experience last weekend at UNCW. My son, Jack, had an amazing time, and we will certainly be returning for more camps in the future.

He was so motivated that, on his own, he positioned himself front/center of you both during nearly all of the talks, and took about 20 pages of notes. I thought that was pretty impressive. But, in reality, that’s a testament to you both. You both carry that “command-presence” that all natural born leaders have and that people want to follow. Keep it up!!!

Having been around baseball my whole life, l’ve had the privilege of being exposed to some excellent training throughout my childhood and even in my years as a youth coach before becoming a father still a Coach. I was coached by South Carolina Hall of Fame Coach Jimmy Weatherford and attended Danny Hall’s Baseball Camps at Georgia Tech at least eight times as a player, as well as once as a father. I’ve also participated in nearly every type of baseball training experience you could imagine. That being said, your camp was, without a doubt, the most incredible learning experience I have ever witnessed. Period.

I was so impressed with the attention to detail and disciplined approach Danny Hall provided. You both, however, far exceeded that discipline and precision in your approach. I was truly in awe of the entire experience.

Both Jack and I are deeply grateful for the knowledge and training you’ve shared. Keep up the amazing work – you’re both making a huge impact on the lives of our youth, and I couldn’t applaud you more.

On a different note, l’ve purchased the PDF training manuals, and Jack and I are now working together to integrate your various programs – such as the play/catch routine and the Big 6 drills – into his regular practice routine. Jack is more excited and motivated than ever after attending your camp.

I don’t say this because I like or respect him – of which I do, but I say this because as a former D1 player and professional athlete he hit the points that truly matter. When I say this many people likely think I’m referring to his drills and instruction – which for the record are second to none. “I’ve watched and listened to many coaches in person and on social media over the years. I came across Trent Mongero in 2010 on social media after he authored the “Winning Baseball” Books and Video Series.
