After just finishing my college baseball career I’ve finally gotten a chance to take a look back at what happened over the last 4 years. So quickly do we forget where we have been, are going, and how we got there. I have had many teachers, pastors, friends and family help me along the way, but one person really made a difference in my college/baseball career…Trent Mongero(sorry Mom and Dad). Were it not for Coach I would have quit baseball my junior year in high school and then again my junior year in college, but he convinced me to persevere and finish what I had started which in turn were the best four years of my life (to date that is). Coach has a passion that is undeniable for the game, a heart for all of his players, and the desire to make everyone, many times at the expense of himself…BETTER. God places many people in our lives for certain reasons. I feel that Coach has and will be here to spread the gospel, not by reading Bible verses at practice, but through the way that he teaches, plays, and loves his players and the game of baseball on and off the field. Thanks Coach for ALL that you have done for me, you and your family have been such bright lights of faith in a world that can be so tough at times. Good luck with the manual!!!
