Reflecting on an incredible weekend that almost didn’t happen, I realize how blessed I am and how lucky The Dugout Training Facility is. We had the chance to host one of the best events we’ve ever held. Trent Mongero and Taber Mongero called me a few months ago to rent the facility for Dirt Bro Diamond Training infield camp. I hadn’t heard of them before, but after looking them up, it was clear they’re the best at what they do.
As the weeks went by, we didn’t have many sign-ups due to all the other baseball and football games. We chatted, decided to pray about it, and trusted that God would bring the right people. A couple of days later, we agreed to trust that the right kids would show up for the camp.
Man, the event was absolutely incredible. The training these athletes got was second to none. I’m so glad Rylan’s games were canceled because of everything we learned in those 10 hours of top-notch instruction. Our community and the parents can’t thank Trent and Taber enough for coming to Gibsonville to work with our kids.
